Southern University Baton Rouge College of Sciences & Engineering invites you to attend this year’s Engineering Summer Institute (ESI). ESI at Southern University seeks to expose students to career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through its four-week summer program. The goal of ESI is to broaden the access of students to STEM careers by exposing the participants to available options in an environment that facilitates intellectual exchange, academic enrichment, and fosters the learning, sharing, and growing processes.
Fridays are reserved for field trips. Students with an interest in engineering and technology entering grades 9 through 12 with a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale are eligible to attend. There is a $400 non-refundable registration fee and registrations are taken until all slots are filled. For more information call 225-771-3798.
