Be part of a new era of Southern University Football and take your legacy to the next level by supporting the naming rights initiative of the Football Locker Room Campaign.

Southern University Football and the Blue and Gold Century Club launched the “You Win In The Locker Room Campaign”, an opportunity to unite and invest in our student-athletes while simultaneously leveling the playing field in FCS Football, enhancing recruitment efforts and restoring Jaguar Pride.

In acknowledgment of your generosity, exclusive naming rights are available for a $3,500 donation. A plaque that includes your name, class/year and hometown will be affixed to the top of a specific locker. You will also be given the opportunity to meet and build a relationship with the student-athlete whose locker you have sponsored, directly connecting you to the Southern University Athletic Department and the program.

The purpose of a locker room in college football is much more than just a place to get dressed for practice and games. It serves as a home away from home for the players during the school day while waiting to attend class, treatment, meetings, and much more. It also serves as a recruiting tool as we focus on our goal of attaining national prominence as one of the top FCS football programs in the country. This project is critically important as we continue to take progressive steps to strengthen our culture and the reputation of the athletic department.

Our goal is to secure the total funding of $450,000, which will underwrite the renovation of the locker room, including the installation of 100 new lockers, fixtures, flooring, and enhanced technology. Any additional funds received over the renovation cost will be invested in further improvements to A. W. Mumford Stadium and the football program.

Your investment in the facility is an investment in our student-athletes and their accomplishments in the classroom and on the field.

Your gift can be considered tax deductible and may be eligible for match funds with your employer. Please reach out to Marlin.Hollins@sus.edu for more information.
