The Southern University A&M College Class of 1973 plans to establish a $100,000 endowed scholarship fund. The purpose is to increase college access for low-income first-generation students, and to enhance the university’s efforts to provide needed aid to undergraduate students. While gifts of any size are welcomed and appreciated, we are challenging classmates to donate $1,000 to this cause. Multiple, incremental, or recurring donations are always welcomed because our goal is to make an ongoing positive impact! From December 15, 2022 thru October 31, 2023 donations will be accepted, but please donate as early as you can. The Class of 1973 collective donation check will be presented during halftime at our 2023 homecoming football game. Corporate donations will also be enthusiastically accepted. Be sure to utilize Gift Matching options if your current or former employer provides that benefit.
Let’s all put our collective efforts together and truly positively impact future & current SU students!
