The JagTalker program is a critical component of the Southern Foundation fundraising team. Located in the Valdry Center for Philanthropy, the call center is staffed by Southern University’s best and brightest students. Our student callers, affectionately known as Jagtalkers, engage with more alumni, parents and friends of the university than any other entity on campus. They encourage donors to further their involvement and strengthen their ties to the Southern University System community by attending events, advocating for Southern University throughout their networks and providing financial support. One-hundred percent of every donation goes to supporting student centered learning experiences. Contributions fund student scholarships as well as the greatest needs of the Southern University System.
