The Southern University System Foundation Jag Talker program provides talented SU students with a nine-month internship. During the nine-month internship, Jag Talkers learn and practice the techniques of fundraising and donor recognition, while sharing the impact of giving with current and prospective donors.

Kenner, LA native Robert Easly Jr., a senior agricultural and animal science major has discovered the importance of giving, the value of networking, and the results of hard work while serving as a Jag Talker.

“I love Southern University! Working with the SU System Foundation as a Jag Talker means making a difference. It gives me great joy knowing that I can reach out and actually thank our generous donors, share my experiences and encourage them to keep giving.”
