The SUS Foundation is vital in ensuring the Southern University community has the ability to further enhance the educational environment. SU Laboratory School was able to become financial stable through the efforts of the SUS Foundation. They provided financial assistance, extensive advisement, and on-going support in other areas that enabled us to secure additional state funds for school operation and capital outlay attainment. Our enrollment has more than doubled since their commitment to helping the Lab School. We are extremely grateful for their support!

“I am truly grateful to the many alumni, friends and organizations who donate to the Southern University System Foundation. Without their contributions, I would not have had the opportunity to purse my education and graduate from this awesome school. Southern was a perfect fit for me. Academically, I was challenged and was fully engaged in my course of study. Socially, Southern provided an environment where I had fun and felt comfortable. I knew if I did my part in the classroom and achieved high academic benchmarks, I could count on the support of the foundation and its donors.”

“Supporting Southern University is a dream come true for me. I have been able to achieve so much in life because of the education that I received while at Southern. We are all beneficiaries of the experiences we gained on “The Yard.” Now we must reach back and inspire others to achieve their goals while empowering them by giving. I’m honored to be able to support
Southern financially and witness first hand dreams coming true.”
