Southern University System Foundation is another source of assistance for students needing financial support to cover the increasing costs of education beyond Federal Student Aid funds. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. The application must be completed and the required documents uploaded. There are limited funds for student educational assistance for both Fall and Spring semesters. Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 to the eligible. Average award based on number of applicants within the priority period. Awards to applicants after the priority period is dependent on the availability of funds.
The committee reviews all applications submitted for review. If you are awarded assistance, a notification email will be sent to your school email with instructions to sign the acknowledgement letter.
The average award for Student Financial Assistance ranges between $200 to $500.
