Jade Brelle Lamb Memorial

Jade Brelle Lamb, born on June 4, 2007, at Women’s Hospital in Flowood, Mississippi, departed this life on August 30, 2025. A proud native of Jackson, Mississippi, Jade grew up in Picayune, where she graduated from Picayune Memorial High School with dual enrollment at Pearl River Community College. At the time of her passing, she was a freshman at Southern University in Baton Rouge, pursuing her dreams of becoming a nurse while also minoring in business. Jade was truly a go-getter, working multiple jobs and running her own business, Beautiful Embellishments, LLC, reflecting her determination and entrepreneurial spirit.

Beyond her studies and work, Jade was full of life and joy. She played the clarinet in the Picayune Memorial High School Maroon Tide marching band, where she also served as Uniform Manager, and her love for music carried into every part of her life. She enjoyed shopping, reading, spending time with friends, and playfully tormenting her brothers. Jade’s vibrant personality made her a constant source of laughter and light—she could find humor in any situation and was known for her infectious smile and quick wit. She participated in numerous organizations and activities, including the City of Picayune Mayor’s Youth Council, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. GEMS and Betty Shabazz Delta Academy (New Orleans Chapter), Beta Club, Dunkin Darling, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and Student Council. Jade was also deeply committed to giving back to her community, rendering over 170 hours of community service.

Jade will be remembered as a joyful spirit, a hard worker, and a dreamer who never stopped striving to achieve her goals. Her laughter, perseverance, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
