This scholarship is being established to honor Raybon White, a 1981 graduate of Southern University-Baton Rouge and son to former Dean of the Business School, U.L. White. Raybon went on to serve as a financial executive for General Motors over a 36-year career while mentoring dozens of financial professionals, particularly people of color. Raybon prioritized his faith and family above all else and was a proud graduate of Southern University.
