The purpose of this fund shall be to establish the Reed-Leonard Memorial Scholarship with the Southern University System Foundation. The scholarship is established to honor Birk and Ethel Reed; Joseph and Virginia Leonard and the remembrance of Carrie Leonard Reed. Burke Reed and sons wish to continue educating students at Southern University with a mission of supporting Education majors, providing funds to meet their needs, today and tomorrow.
