The Southern University Jazz Ensemble(SUJE) performs its mission in Baton Rouge and surrounding communities on a budget of roughly $30,000 each academic school year., which pays for rental vehicles, flights, artist fees, food, publicity, and a myriad of other miscellaneous expenses.
